Position Title:

Early Childhood Education Department Teacher (Temporary)

Compensation (Pay/Benefits) Our employees are our most valuable asset. The pay range for this position starts at an hourly range of $18.65 - $25.19 per hour, depending on qualifications. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Schedule:

Temporary position (August-November), variable hours, with shifts between 7:30-5:30, to be determined according to center needs

Location: Minnetonka

Position Overview:

The Department Teacher is responsible for supporting multiple classrooms as determined by center staffing needs coordinated by ECE Supervisors. The Department Teacher leads or assists in implementing developmentally appropriate activities that build on individual children's strengths and needs and is an active participant with all children as a partner in play. The Department Teacher coordinates with their team to maintain healthy, safe, and organized classroom spaces that enrich the educational experience of all children in our program.

Job Qualifications:

Education & Experience

Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in any field with 18 quarter credit education hours.

AND

1,040 hours of experience as a teacher, assistant teacher, aide, or student intern in a licensed child care center, a licensed family child care program, a Tribally licensed child care program in any United States state or territory, or in a public or nonpublic school;
