Contract RN - BMT/ONC - Night Shift

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our BMT/ONC unit. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care, focusing on chemotherapy and biotherapy administration. This role requires expertise in handling antineoplastic medications and a strong commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments to patients.
• Monitor patients during treatments and report any adverse reactions.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures for handling hazardous drugs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Provide patient education regarding treatments and side effects.
  
  

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification with 15.25 contact hours.
• Experience in BMT and TCT is preferred.
• Prior oncology nursing experience is required.
