Contract Position: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum, specializing in high-risk obstetrics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients during labor and delivery, ensuring both maternal and fetal well-being
• Administer medications and IV fluids as necessary
• Assist in all types of deliveries, including C-sections and emergency procedures
• Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the labor experience
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care
  
  

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license
• At least 3 years of experience in high-risk obstetrics
• Current certifications in Advanced EFM, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate EFM
• Certification as a CST is preferred
