Surgical Technologist - Operating Room (Contract Position)

7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; Monday, Tuesday, Friday

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general, orthopedic, and neuro surgery and be willing to adapt to various surgical disciplines as required. The position involves a variety of shifts and potential call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are available for each procedure.
• Adapt to different cases and be flexible in taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
  
  

Assist with new staff or graduate training when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of general OR experience is required.
• Completion of Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience.
• Experience in CVOR is preferred; candidates without CVOR experience will not be considered for CVOR roles.
• Basic general OR knowledge.
