Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Supervisor of Respiratory Care, you willbe responsible forthe overall operation of the department. You willbe responsible fororientating, evaluating, and documentingcompetencyof personnel. You willestablish, maintain, and revise departmental policies and procedures to include departmental programs, quality control, performance improvement, and safety. You willmaintaindepartmental expenses and productivity as budgeted. You will oversee respiratory care as delivered by the Respiratory Therapy department.
- You will hire and direct departmental staff in the performance of their duties
- You will oversee and maintain departmental programs
- You will manage resources to ensure adherence to budget
- You will address departmental issues to ensure optimal delivery of services
- You will perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
What qualifications you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist
- (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
- Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
- 5 years experience Required Years of Experience
