St. David's Surgical Hospital, part of St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, is a specialty hospital focused on surgery. It provides expert care in orthopedic, gynecological, urological, breast, and reconstructive surgery, among other types. Located in North Austin, the hospital has 45 large inpatient rooms, 10 operating room suites, and an inpatient rehabilitation unit with a therapy gym and 20 private rehab rooms. It also includes an ADL/occupational therapy suite (for helping patients with daily living skills), as well as imaging, pharmacy, lab services, and dedicated teams for nursing, therapy, and leadership.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth procedures and recovery
- Providing non-medicated care like dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
- Keeping patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
- Managing supplies, equipment, and environmental logs to keep the team ready and protect patients through infection control
- Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team while promoting safety and quality efforts
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
