Job Summary And Qualifications
As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform mammographic procedures by applying proper ionizing radiation coupled with accurate positioning, compression, and processing techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by Radiologist. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Job Summary And Qualifications
As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform mammographic procedures by applying proper ionizing radiation coupled with accurate positioning, compression, and processing techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by Radiologist. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
- You will perform all mammography, needle localization, ductograms and Stereotactic breast biopsy procedures
- You will assist physicians and radiologist during procedures requiring sterile technique
- You will assists in maintaining quality control program
- You will assess patient’s condition prior to and during all procedures
- You are responsible for safe handling of equipment and films
- You will instruct and prepare patients for all mammography procedures
- You will process x-ray film and maintains all processor quality assurance daily
- You will practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures
- You will maintain mammographic records and reports
- One year experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology approved by the American Medical Association
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Mammography (ARRT (M))
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David’s Healthcare policy
