Schedule
Part-time (13 hours) M-F variable hours, with the opportunity for hybrid work.
Location:
Nicollet Center, Minneapolis.
Program Summary
The Healthy Families program is a relationship-based, trauma-informed and evidence-based home visiting model. Families are enrolled prenatally or with newborn infants, and services are provided for up to four years. Services include promoting positive parent-child relationships, emotional support around parenting, developmental guidance, connection to community resources and advocacy for each family as needed.
Position Overview
The Home Visiting Supervisor provides reflective supervision and leadership to a diverse home visiting team. The Supervisor oversees the home visiting staff to ensure that job duties are carried out according to agency, county, and home visiting model policies and procedures. The Home Visiting Supervisor is also responsible for training, goal setting, and performance management. The Supervisor will ensure high-quality practice and promote staff well-being in all aspects of program delivery.

Job Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor degree in psychology, social work, child development or a related field
- Master's degree (preferred)
- At least 3 years' experience in leadership capacity which includes supporting the delivery of infant/early childhood mental health or related field
- Experience with evidence-based models and fidelity measures
- At least 5 years' experience providing home visiting services or community-based mental health services
- Experience providing home visiting services in the Healthy Families America (HFA) model (preferred)
- Experience working across cultures and supporting a diverse workforce
- Experience receiving and/or providing ongoing reflective supervision and supporting direct service staff in emotionally demanding work
- Strong clinical skills and diverse family system knowledge
- Strong knowledge of infant and child development, pregnancy/early parenting, attachment theory, risk and protective factors, impact of trauma on parent-child relationships, and strategies for supporting families with complex needs
- Strong understanding of relationship-based practice and reflective supervision
- Ability to build and maintain supportive relationships
- Strong emotional intelligence
- Strong reflective listening and communication skills
- Ability to foster a supportive, inclusive and trauma-informed team culture
- Ability to support, motivate and guide others
- Ability to retain quality staff and work collaboratively in a team environment.
