What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeper (Full-Time) position at St. Croix Casino?
Thursday- Sunday 8am-4pm
$15.68/hr.

JOB SUMMARY: As a Hotel Housekeeper, it will be your responsibility to performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms under supervision of housekeeping supervisor. Housekeepers promote a positive image of the Hotel to guests and are able to maintain a clean, comfortable environment for Hotel guests.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older, must be able to work weekends and holidays. Have the ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance. Previous housekeeping experience helpful but not required.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be ableto stand, bend, and kneel for an eight (8) hour shift or more, must be fast-paced and neat, and must have the capacity to work as a team player or individually. Have the capability to multi-task projects/duties all at once. Have the ability to follow directions both written and verbally. Must be able to carry loads up to 50 pounds and be able to push or pull a minimum of 100 pounds.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ø Maintain all assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition in a timely manner
Ø Stripping, stocking, and making beds
Ø Wash, dust, polish, and vacuum all areas of rooms
Ø Clean sinks, tubs, showers, and toilets according to Hotel standards
Ø Polish fittings and fixtures
Ø Clean mirrors and windows
Ø Empty and clean trash cans
Ø Listen and respond to guests queries and requests
Ø Ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies
Ø Keep cleaning equipment in good working order
Ø Maintain clean storage area for equipment and supplies
Ø Observe and report any maintenance issues
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory training. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
