Overview
We are seeking a motivated Building and Grounds Team Member to help maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our church facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant faith community by ensuring our environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all parishioners and visitors. The responsibilities listed are representative of the position but are not all inclusive. Education/Compensation: High School diploma or equivalent. This position is paid hourly with a maximum of 24 hours per week. No benefits are included in this position. Responsibilities
- Oversee setup and takedown for Parish functions and transportation of items around campus.
- Maintain, service, clean, and properly store equipment.
- Perform basic janitorial duties such as cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, emptying trash, etc.
- Safely operate landscaping and snow removal power equipment.
- Other related assignments as required to support the parish and its various ministries.
Skills
- This position requires availability for an 8-hour shift – on Monday and Friday, and an additional weekday or weekend day as necessary.
- Competent and safe use of hand power tools.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, push or pull heavy loads or carts.
- Must be able to work in various positions indoors and outdoors for several hours year-round.
- Must be an ethical, good communicator, and self-starter. Ability to collaborate with the Parish Staff, ministries, and volunteers.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s license required. Must be insurable by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, OH.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
