Training Specialist/DSP

self-sufficiency, overall level of independence and integration into the
community. The CDSis seeking a Training Specialist/DSP to join the
Community Day Services Program.\

Training Specialist/DSP

- Schedule:** Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4 PM\
- Pay Rate:**\$20.54 hourly
Responsibilities
- The individual will be responsible for implementing methods of
curriculum
- Adapts work stations to meet the needs of the consumers: maintains a
- Prepares required documentation for agency caseworkers
- Provides crisis counseling and emergency interventions to consumers
- Responsible for transporting clients in a Van
- Monitors and records operating conditions of vehicle daily and
- While transporting clients, complies to route, safety and other
- Tracks and records client transportation and other information as

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Able to demonstrate approved behavior management techniques
- DSP certification preferred, not required (In-house training
- CPR and First Aide Certification preferred not required
- Valid drivers license
- Pass a criminal background checkand physical/drug test
- Pass a MVR background check
