Find your purpose with CentraCare! We are seeking a detail oriented and customer-focused Verification Authorization Assistant to support our Home Health and Hospice team!
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all new referrals have insurance demographic and eligibility information obtained and entered into the electronic medical record
- Assembling admission paperwork and accurately completing required forms
- Verifying patient payer eligibility and benefits
- Obtaining authorization for home care and hospice services
- Communicating necessary information regarding authorizations and eligibility with Case Manager
Schedule

Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Hybrid
- Primarily work from home with occasional on-site presence required for meetings and work events
- Monday - Friday | Day shift | 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Pay and Benefits

Starting pay begins at $18.84 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
- Pay range: $18.40 - $27.61 per hour

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of previous office experience
- Prior home care experience or knowledge of home care regulatory guidelines preferred
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills both oral and written
- Knowledge of computer-based data entry
- Experience working with insurance strongly preferred
