Registered Nurse | Hospice

Find your purpose with CentraCare by joining our Hospice team as a Registered Nurse! You will make a difference in the lives of others by caring for patients and their families in the comfort of wherever they call home. Responsibilities include admitting patients to hospice and providing ongoing care for them and their families throughout their hospice journey, medication reviews, seeking orders from physicians, and providing education to caregivers about how to provide end of life care for their loved ones. Some other routine nursing tasks include head to toe assessments, pain assessments, wound care and catheter care. We provide an extensive orientation program as well as ongoing RN office support to you while visiting patients. This position serves in the cities of St. Cloud, Clear Lake, Clearwater and surrounding areas.

Schedule

• Part-time | 40 hours every two weeks
• Various days Monday - Friday | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Every 4th weekend rotating day & evening shifts | 2 rotating holidays per calendar year | Very rare on call

Pay and Benefits

• Pay based on experience and degree
  • Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $38.21 per hour
  • Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $39.16 per hour
  • Master’s in nursing starting at $40.14 per hour
    • Pay range: $38.21 - $57.31 per hour
• Milage reimbursement and extra pay for working weekend shifts

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
• Minimum of two years of experience in an acute care setting, at least one year of RN experience
• Reliable transportation
• Valid Minnesota driver’s license, a driving record in good standing, and insurance liability coverage

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. CentraCare pay promotions to include but not limited to, hiring bonuses may be discontinued at any time due to business needs.
