Member Advisor

Job Summary
The Member Advisor plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and financial guidance to our members. This position involves engaging with customers to understand their financial needs, promoting banking products and services, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their interactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills and a passion for helping individuals achieve their financial goals.

Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting members and addressing their inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist members with account management, including cash management and loan processing.
- Identify opportunities for upselling banking products and services that align with members' financial needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments of member accounts to detect potential fraud and implement preventive measures.
- Utilize financial software to manage transactions, maintain accurate records, and support member transactions efficiently.
- Educate members on various financial services offered by the bank, ensuring they are informed about options available to them.
- Apply retail math skills to assist members with account balances, interest calculations, and other financial inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in the financial services or banking industry.
- Strong understanding of cash management principles and fraud prevention detection techniques.
- Proficient in using financial software and technology to enhance member interactions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and retail math skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying member needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.34 - $19.31 per hour
