As a Dietary Aide, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Director of Nursing and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Deliver meals to rooms at designated times in a polite and friendly manner.
- Clean and set up dining tables and food trays.
- Uphold our high standards for food safety and sanitation.
- Listen and make note of residents’ food and drink requests and needs.
- Assist in the kitchen as needed, including cooking, stocking ingredients, dishwashing and maintaining equipment.
- Communicate with medical staff to ensure nutritional goals are being met for each patient
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food service experience preferred, preferably in healthcare
