Responsible for assisting end-users in learning to navigate electronic medical records through one-on-one, classroom, and real-time training. Collaborates closely with Clinical Informatics to support the development, implementation, and training of the electronic medical record. Delivers effective training sessions to enhance user proficiency. Supports ongoing adoption and optimization of electronic medical record system usage.
Essential Functions
Bachelor’s degree in nursing, computer science, information systems, or a related field
Experience Requirement
0-2 years of experience in computer science, information systems, or a relevant area
2 years of nursing experience on Epic platform preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Essential Functions
- Develops and delivers training and development programs to end users and IT professionals.
- Designs and updates training materials, classes, workshops, and online resources.
- Collaborates with Clinical Informatics, IST, and organizational teams to assess system, training, and reporting needs.
- Analyzes and tests software functionality, identifying and resolving issues within scope of authority.
- Performs software application troubleshooting and resolves data translation issues.
- Facilitates resolution of software effectiveness issues among end users, Clinical Informatics, and IST teams.
- Evaluates information flow processes and serves as liaison between service lines, Clinical Informatics, and IST.
- Develops and maintains knowledge of software reporting tools to support report design, analysis, and training.
- Participates in inter-departmental committees and completes required documentation and reporting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
