Summary
According to established procedures, receives and prepares patients and operates computerized non-invasive scanning equipment to provide MRI scans utilized by physicians in diagnosing extent of injuries or studying body systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess one of the following:
- Credential in Sonography, Radiography, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Credential by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Credential in Sonography by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T. (MR) (ARRT).
