Summary
According to established policies, procedures, and protocols, performs computed tomography procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and assists a licensed practitioner with interventional computed tomography procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Attainment of one of the following:
- Advanced-level certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in computed tomography.
- Registration and certification in radiography by ARRT with documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams and attainment of advanced-level certification by the ARRT or NMTCB in computed tomography within one year of hire.
- Certification in nuclear medicine technology by ARRT or NMTCB with documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams and attainment of advanced-level certification by the ARRT or NMTCB in computed tomography within one year of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of CT experience.
