Summary

Identifies, assesses, designs, implements, and evaluates education programs for staff which support the provision of quality patient care.  Provides guidance and support to health care providers in educational program development.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
3. Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing or Nursing Education.
4. Demonstrated expertise in staff and program development and implementation.
5. Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
6. Five years of clinical psychiatric nursing experience in an acute setting.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Previous experience in clinical group supervision.
2. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Instructor certification.
