St. Clair Health is a dynamic community hospital with a well-respected hospitalist team. We are seeking an experienced and motivated physician leader to serve as Medical Director and Chief of Hospital Medicine.

Position Highlights:
· Balance of responsibilities: Approximately 90% clinical and 10% administrative duties
· Leadership support: Administrative peer as well as dedicated Associate Medical Director
· Reporting structure: Reports directly to the Associate Chief Medical Officer
Key Responsibilities:
· Development and oversight of a clinical team structure that meets the needs of our patients, organization, and health care professionals
· Collaborate with hospital leadership to advance quality initiatives, patient safety, and operational excellence
· Participate in administrative functions including scheduling, performance management, and program development
Qualifications:
· Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
· Minimum of 3 years of hospitalist experience, prior leadership experience strongly preferred
