Teaching Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to fill the position of CTE Law Enforcement Teacher at St. Clair County RESA.
About the Job:
- This is a 185-day school year position offering full family medical, dental, and vision benefits.
- The salary range is per IEA bargaining agreement.
- The start date is tentatively August of 2025, pending board approval and successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct students in law enforcement and public safety-related courses.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Qualifications:
- A valid Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate with appropriate Vocational Education Teaching Endorsement or 4,000 hours of paid recent and relevant work experience.
- Previous high school and/or adult teaching experience.
- An Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
