What are the responsibilities and job description for the Milieu Counselor, per diem position at St. Christopher's Inn?
We are seeking a per diem Milieu Counselors at St. Christopher's Inn, located in Garrison, NY. Our ideal candidate possesses the following:
Current valid New York State Driver’s License, Current CPR Certification, Current New York State Security License, A minimum of a CASAC-T or CRPA. Proven prior experience with SUD Population.
Job Duties:
Ability to handle conflict resolution, and report to the applicable parties
Does frequent Dorm checks and bed checks to make sure all clients are accounted for on the respective shift.
During bed checks, Milieu Counselor should be checking in with any clients in crisis or client in need of speaking with Counseling staff (Crisis Intervention).
Ensures A.A. speakers adhere to schedule and monitor sign in for speaker as well as clients.
Attends Clinical Supervision with SCI Counseling In accordance with OASAS Credentialing requirements
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
