Job Summary:
- Apply a wide variety of types of casts or traction determined by the physician to treat fractures, sprains or wounds of the extremities and fractures or infections.
- Instructing patients on cast care and at home fraction. Each patient must be informed of what their roles are when they are discharged in one of our devices.
- Knowledge of signs and symptoms of infections
- Knowledge of what to do in case of an emergency
- Consult with patients by phone, instruct patients to call physician where concerns cannot be addressed
- Maintain equipment and supply inventory at main location.
- Travel, if necessary, to cover Satellite locations when needed.
- Ordering of supplies and maintaining proper PAR levels
- Track and complete paperwork for DME supplies.
- Assist provider with casting as necessary.

Education Requirements
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
- High School Diploma - OR - GED
- CPR certification required within 60 days of hire date
- Orthopedic technician/technologist, Certified Medical Assistant, OR Tech, EMT
- Pediatrics experience
