Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt about 1st Choice Case Management1st Choice Case Management is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Georgia’s elderly and disabled adults through compassionate, client-centered care coordination. We partner with caregivers, community providers, and Medicaid programs such as the Elderly and Disabled Waiver Program (EDWP) and Community Care Services Program (CCSP) to ensure clients receive the right services at the right time. Position Summary. The Administrative Coordinator supports daily operations and compliance for 1st Choice’s EDWP and CCSP programs. This role ensures accurate client data, Medicaid eligibility verification, and timely communication between clients, case managers, and community partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment. Key Responsibilities Medicaid & Program Administration
- Conduct Medicaid screenings and eligibility verifications.
- Maintain accurate client data in the case management system.
- Upload CCSP service documentation as required.
Quality & Compliance
- Perform 90-day chart audits to ensure documentation accuracy.
- Assist with audit preparation and internal quality reviews.
- Identify and resolve documentation gaps with case managers.
Client & Team Support
- Make at least 25 weekly calls to clients to confirm satisfaction and service delivery.
- Document all communications per Medicaid standards.
- Provide administrative and office support, including scheduling, reports, and meeting preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of administrative or healthcare support experience (Medicaid, CCSP, or EDWP preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills.
- Must work on-site, Monday–Friday.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Georgia Medicaid and waiver programs.
- Experience with client chart audits and case management systems.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
