St. Charles Trucking – OTR Truck Driver (Sunday–Thursday Route | Elgin, IL Based)
Location: Elgin, IL
Route: Elgin, IL → Denton, TX → Arkansas → Elgin, IL
Schedule: Sunday Morning – Thursday
St. Charles Trucking is a full-service 3PL transportation division providing LTL, Truckload, and Rail services to our customers for over 17 years.
We are seeking a reliable, professional OTR Truck Driver for a dedicated weekly route originating in Elgin. This consistent run departs Sunday morning, heads to Denton, travels across Arkansas, and returns to Elgin by Thursday.
This is a steady, predictable schedule offering excellent work-life balance with Fridays and Saturdays off.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on a multi-state OTR route
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations
- Keep equipment clean and report any maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Clean driving record
- Strong commitment to safety and on-time performance
- Ability to manage time efficiently and communicate effectively
