This is a summer unpaid internship position working approximately 20 hours per week.
JOB OVERVIEW: Interns working at the Missouri Job Center of St. Charles County will be provided with hands-on experience working in a public workforce environment where customers receive a variety of employment support services. Interns will perform customer services tasks, which may include working directly with customers to assist with computer navigation, accessing job search websites, faxing or printing, and completing job applications. In addition to customer support, interns will gain practical experience with clerical and administrative tasks such as filing documents, registering customers for Job Center events, organizing materials for workshops and hiring events, assisting with front desk support (including incoming phone calls), and helping staff maintain an organized and professional customer service area. This internship is ideal for individuals who are interested in gaining real-world workplace experience and exploring careers in administration, human services, workforce development, customer service, or public service.
