SCC invites qualified candidates to apply for our part-time faculty position to teach Spanish this upcoming semester, and possibly future semesters. The position may teach in-person or online courses; preference given to candidates able to teach on-campus courses of introductory and/or intermediate Spanish. Part-time appointments made on a semester-by-semester (as needed) basis.
Qualifications: A Master's degree in Spanish, or a Master's in a related field and at least 18 hours of graduate level Spanish coursework is required; Ph.D. preferred.
Prior teaching experience and/or liaison to local high schools preferred.
Translation/interpretation experience is a plus, as is a master's degree in an additional language and/or education.
