Associate Middle School Youth Ministry Coordinator
Part Time/Hourly–10 hours per week
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Theology or related field preferred, but not required
Work or volunteer experience leading youth
Tasks
- Collaborate with the Youth Ministry Coordinator & Associate to strategize, plan, facilitate & execute ministry for middle school age youth
- Operate according to diocesan policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Support and assist in expanding existing discipleship small group ministry
- Assist in recruiting and training adult ministry parish leaders
- Organize conversion-oriented faith encounters that nourish and form the spiritual life for middle school youth at the parish
- Communicate with parents and the parish about the ministry opportunities
- Assist in Catholic Youth Summer Camp parish registration process for middle school
- Connect with youth during camp week
- Invite youth to full participation in parish and Church life
