JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Masters degree in a mental health related field. Current LCSW or LPC licensure in the State of Arkansas.
Experience
A minimum of three years in counseling or psychotherapy with adults and/or adolescents preferred. A minimum of one year experience working with adults with substance abuse or chemical dependency issues. Knowledge regarding standards of practice, crisis intervention, and assessment. Effective communication skills, able to work with the public well.
Physical
Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Frequent sitting and walking. Lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 20 pounds.
JOB SUMMARY
Provide individual, group, family, and marital therapy to patients. Provide individual, group, family, and marital therapy to patients. Responsible for the creation and implementation of outpatient treatment plans which will include: Assessment; Diagnosis; Problems/need identified; and, Treatment plan, goals and objectives.
Full Time Day Shift Mon-Wed 8a-5p in Jonesboro; Thurs & Fri at the Paragould Medical Park
