What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAMMOGRAPHER - MOBILE MAMMO position at St. Bernards Healthcare?
- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education
- Must be licensed in Radiologic Technology and must be registered in ARRT.
- Experience
- Sufficient working knowledge of the different phases and types of x-ray machines both mobile and stationary with emphasis on mammographic procedure and technique. Must possess a valid Arkansas driver’s license and be subject to favorable motor vehicle report.
- Physical
- This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information.
- Normal hospital environment. Exposure to radiological hazard-occupational levels. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range. Oral communication. Operate mammogram machine, computer, film processing, and patient monitoring. Lifting up to 50lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 250lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and bending.
- JOB SUMMARY
- Under the direction of a radiologist and the supervision of the department management, performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
