Role Description The Internal Auditor role is a full-time, hybrid position located in Jonesboro, AR. The individual in this role performs routine auditing procedures in a timely and professional manner. Meets assigned deadlines and provides advance warning of problems. This person will work independently under the direction of the Internal Audit Manager. Develops spreadsheet programs using Excel. This position will perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Internal Audit or Internal Audit Manager. The person in this position will be required to utilized independent judgment, interact frequently with other departments/corporations, and will be responsible, alongside the Internal Audit Manager, for carrying out the annual audit plan. This plan includes financial & operational audits which culminate into written work papers, reports and recommendations. It may also include assisting the external auditors during their audit process
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess data, evaluate risks, and interpret complex information.
- Candidates should possess a thorough understanding of internal audit processes, excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and financial software.
- Candidates should possess Audit Reports skills to document findings, develop recommendations, and present clear, structured reports.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, explain audit results, and support action plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
- Ability to work with confidential information, manage multiple audits, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
