What are the responsibilities and job description for the MEDICAL ASSISTANT position at St. Barnabas?
Deliver comprehensive, compassionate and quality patient care. The mission is consistent with the hospital's mission, which is to deliver a wide variety of community-oriented health services / programs. Under the direction and guidance of the professional staff and registered nurse, performs a variety of clinical / clerical duties and tasks to provide effective patient care for a variety of specialty services.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education Required - HS Diploma or Equivalence
- License(s) Required- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program
- Experience / Skills Required - One (1) year previous experience in a medical setting. Excellent communication / interpersonal skills. Bilingual preferred. Knowledge of Computer Technology preferred. Successful completion of St. Barnabas Hospital orientation.
