What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mammography Tech (Per Diem) position at St. Barnabas?
Per diem Registered mammography technologist position to perform mammographic procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by a radiologist and attending physician.
Duties will include work on site and occasional coverage on a mobile mammographic unit. Mammographic interventional procedures are also a part of the general duties of the position.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school for radiography with advanced training in mammography.
License(s) Required:
- Holds the appropriate licensure and certification(s) for radiography and advanced certification for mammography.
- Must hold digital mammography certification.
- Must hold tomosynthesis certification.
- Experience/Skills Required: At least one (1) years of experience in mammography.
- Bilingual is an asset but not required.
