What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Department Nurse Educator position at St. Barnabas?
Emergency Department Nurse Educator plans, coordinates, provides and evaluates learning experiences for all levels of nursing staff to promote/maintain their competency. Assists in the promotion of the mission, policies and practices of the Nursing Department.
Qualifications:
Master's in nursing or closely related degree required; Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State; Minimum of 3 years' experience with demonstrated competence in Nursing practice as an Emergency Department nurse and leadership skills. One year experience teaching adults in classroom and clinical area with demonstrated competence in program planning, principle, and practice of adult learning is preferred.
