What are the responsibilities and job description for the ED Medical Assistant PART TIME position at St. Barnabas?
The Medical Assistant will perform variety of clinical/clerical duties and tasks under the supervisor of the professional and registered nurse to provide effective patients care.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have:
- HS Diploma/GED
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program
- 1 year of previous experience in a medical setting or 2 years of relevant work experience
- Bilingual English/ Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of computer technology including but not limited to patient registration systems preferred
