Responsibilities
- Operate industrial dryers, washers, and other laundry equipment to process linens, clothing, and resident materials efficiently.
- Sort, load, and unload laundry loads with care, ensuring proper handling of delicate items and heavy textiles.
- Follow safety standards in production by adhering to proper manual handling techniques and using personal protective equipment when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by performing routine cleaning tasks and organizing supplies for easy access.
- Handle materials responsibly, ensuring proper sorting of soiled items and accurate tracking of laundry batches.
- Assist with dry cleaning processes when applicable, ensuring garments are cleaned according to manufacturer instructions.
- Support the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the facility by following established procedures for infection control and safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and repeatedly during laundry operations.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments related to manual handling and industrial equipment use.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are properly cleaned, sorted, and stored.
