This role plays a critical part in shaping student-athletes in character, faith, and skill while establishing a strong foundation for the North Campus athletic program.Coaching & Program LeadershipBuild and lead a Christ-centered basketball program aligned to Aug Prep’s mission and values Model servant leadership through humility, encouragement, and integrityDevelop a year-round vision including in-season and off-season programming, training, and team cultureLead all practices, games, and team functions with structure and purposeCreate a positive, disciplined, and growth-oriented team environmentAthletic Development & TrainingPlan and implement comprehensive training focused on skill development, team tactics, conditioning, and mental toughnessTeach fundamental and advanced basketball skills with attention to individual athlete growthSupport holistic athlete development including leadership, accountability, and resilienceCollaborate with strength and conditioning staff as neededTeam & Culture ManagementBuild strong relationships with student-athletes, families, staff, and the broader school communityCommunicate clearly and consistently with all stakeholdersEstablish team expectations that reflect integrity, perseverance, courage, and respectCreate team-building opportunities that reinforce culture and unityOperations, Compliance & CollaborationEnsure all athletes meet academic, behavioral, and eligibility standardsMaintain compliance with WIAA, conference, and school policiesCoordinate with the Athletic Department on scheduling, transportation, and facilitiesManage equipment, uniforms, and inventory responsiblyWhat We’re Looking ForA deep belief in the ability of every child and commitment to excellenceAlignment with Aug Prep’s Mission, North Star, and Christian valuesStrong organizational, leadership, and communication skillsAbility to build relationships and lead with integrityExperience in coaching basketball (3 years preferred)Bachelor’s Degree preferredCPR and AED certification preferredActive participation in a local churchTeam player with a service mindset and high characterThis document describes general information about the position, however, should not be considered comprehensive.
