Responsibilities:
- Create, manage and maintain employee schedules, including filling open shifts and updating schedule to ensure areas are staffed appropriately.
- Update and maintain system to reflect holidays, vacations, tardies and absences.
- Communicate regularly with staff regarding assignments and issues
- Ensure all shifts are filled to meet requirements.
- Keep phone list and current staff information updated in system
- Communicate daily with DON, ADON and Nurse Manager regarding open shifts
- Ensure staff are aware of schedules and how to access their individual schedule.
- Provide reports to supervisors when requested
- High School diploma required.
- Associate's degree in business or other related field preferred, and 2 years of experience or four years of experience scheduling.
- Nursing home or long-term care experience
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Effective and positive communication with all levels of staff
Salary : $24 - $28
