We are seeking to hire a RN - Nurse Educator / Admissions Coordinator.
- $87,360 - $93,600 annually based on skills and experience.
Registered Nurse - RN - Nurse Educator / Admissions Coordinator Qualifications:
- Current PA RN - Registered Nurse License.
- Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Educator experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of Admissions experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Registered Nurse - RN - Nurse Educator / Admissions Coordinator Job Summary:
- Manage educational department activities within rules of the long-term care facility to ensure facility compliance.
- Coordinate the orientation program for new staff and other programs.
- Provide regular in-service and continuing education programs for nurses.
- Conduct competency skills evaluations.
- Maintain a resource center with current geriatric literature and other media.
- Compile necessary reports for DPH and other regulatory agencies.
- Maintain accurate records of bed availability, resident census, names, and room numbers, pending discharges and bedholds.
- Interview residents and/or responsible party and records admitting information on all required forms and applications.
- Obtain all necessary admissions documents - Level 1 PASRR, Application, financial disclosure, discharge paperwork, Healthcare POA, code status, Medicare/Medicaid cards/forms for signature.
- Greet the resident and resident representative and escort to resident’s room.
- Track all admissions and disposition on a daily basis, entering the data in the electronic tracking system and completes tracking and trending reports, identifying opportunities for improvement in QAPI and as requested.
