Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS system.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized drink recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic retail math to process payments swiftly and accurately.
- Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and place orders as needed to ensure seamless service during busy hours.
- Uphold responsible serving practices by recognizing signs of intoxication and managing service accordingly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during banquets, catering events, or nightclubs, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
- Experience with fine dining or catering environments is a plus, showcasing versatility across different hospitality settings.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations confidently for cash handling and retail math scenarios.
