St. Ann’s Community is seeking a full time Grounds assistant to float between both the Irondequoit and Webster campuses. The main focus of this position is to assist the Ground leader or Facilities Manager on routine maintenance and/or construction/refurbishing projects within the community and grounds.

Job Description:
- Assists senior Mechanics with equipment/machinery overhaul, requisitioning and installing parts under supervision
- Constantly observes facility for areas in need of repair or cleaning, repairing or cleaning whenever possible or reporting to appropriate supervisory staff for immediate action or scheduling
- Shovel and plow snow as required
- Mows, seeds, rakes, waters, fertilizers and weeds lawns
- Plants, transplants and prunes trees, shrubbery and flowers
- Pick up grounds as required
Candidate Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Minimum of 1 year related experience or training in construction and/or maintenance repair preferably in lawn and landscaping
