Position Overview
We are looking for a strong, experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. This is not an entry-level position—we are looking for someone who can confidently run a classroom, manage behaviors, implement lesson plans, and maintain a safe, structured environment for toddlers.
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
- CDA (Child Development Associate), TCC, TCD, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum 2 years of classroom experience (toddler experience preferred)
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Completed Health & Safety Orientation Training (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
- Must meet all Georgia DECAL licensing requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a toddler classroom daily
- Implement lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum
- Maintain proper classroom ratios and supervision at all times
- Create a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
- Support children’s social-emotional development and behavior management
- Communicate effectively with parents through daily updates and conversations
- Complete required documentation (incident reports, daily logs, etc.)
- Work as a team with administration and support staff
