Position Summary
Provide beauty services, such as shampooing, cutting, coloring, and styling hair, and massaging and treating scalp. May also apply makeup, dress wigs, perform hair removal, and provide nail and skin care services. The hair stylist advises both front desk and member of any upgrades prior to completion of services.

- Assist in other areas of the spa during down time

Marginal Job Functions
- Knowledge of all spa & salon services.
- Participate and attend in all training classes and staff meetings.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, staff may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the country club.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. (Customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.)
- Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. (Includes use of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.)
- Must be detail oriented, friendly, outgoing and have excellent communication, written and computer skills.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to stand for a long period of time (up to average 8 hour shifts)
- Must be able to sit, stand, crouch, stoop and knell when assisting Members with their needs.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Current Florida State Cosmetology License
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an upscale salon, country club, hotel or spa setting.
- Current CPR certification preferred
