Position Summary
The Scheduler coordinates and maintains staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts and departments while supporting resident care and staffing efficiency.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain the master staffing schedule for nursing and other departments.
Coordinate shift coverage, including call-offs, vacations, and leave requests.
Communicate schedule changes to staff and management promptly.
Track attendance, overtime, and staffing patterns.
Assist with recruitment scheduling and onboarding logistics.
Support compliance with labor regulations and facility staffing requirements.
Maintains and uploads accurate scheduling and medical records and reports.
Perform other scheduling and administrative duties as assigned.
Ordering supplies.
All other duties assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Scheduling, Staffing, Or Administrative Experience Preferred.
Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
