St. Andrew’s Place is hiring for a full time Office Manager/Bookkeeper.
This is a full time exempt position with benefits. Position is responsible for basic bookkeeping (A/R, A/P, Receipts, Deposits), managing the front desk, answering phones, making appointments for residents, working with residents and their family, supervising the weekend receptionist, filing, helping the Administrator & Department Heads, and good listener. It is said that this position is the “heart” of the building so it’s very, very important that the person filling this role is happy, outgoing, and positive.
Minimum requirements:
- Friendly and outgoing ~ able and willing to talk with “everyone”
- Love office work
- Computer proficient
- Must be proficient in Microsoft programs including: excel, publisher, word and access.
- Experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and payroll preferable with Sage 50 (Peachtree) or Quickbooks
- Must have good customer service skills
- Team player
- Multi-tasker – this is a key because there will be numerous interruptions every day.
- Must be qualified to work in long term care.
- Pass a drug screening which includes marijuana (and medical marijuana).
- The person we meet in the interview is the person that comes to work.
- Food handlers permit
