Youth Sports Field Supervisor (Part-Time)

St. Andrew's Parish Parks & Playground Commission is seeking dependable, enthusiastic Youth Sports Field Supervisors to oversee recreational athletic events and ensure a safe, organized, and positive environment for players, coaches, officials, and spectators.
As the on-site representative during games and tournaments, you'll help prepare facilities, support game operations, enforce policies, respond to issues, and ensure each event runs smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Supervise youth sports games and events
- Prepare fields and facilities before games
- Support referees, scorekeepers, coaches, and participants
- Monitor safety and enforce facility policies
- Respond to incidents and complete required reports
- Assist with weather-related safety procedures and facility closing
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
- One year of related experience in athletics, recreation, or customer service preferred
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain if hired)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Schedule
- Part-time hours based on the athletic schedule, with most shifts occurring evenings and weekends
Pay
- $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience
