Who We Are
St. Andrew's Parish Parks & Playground Commission is seeking caring, dependable, and energetic individuals to join our team as Kids Club Attendants at Family Fitness Plus. In this role, you'll provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children ages 12 weeks through 12 years while their parents or guardians use our fitness center.
Your Main Mission
As our Kids Club Lead, you’ll help create a safe, upbeat childcare space so parents can enjoy their workout with peace of mind. You’ll keep the room running smoothly, support the team on shift, and make sure our standards stay consistent.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children ages 12 weeks–12 years
- Lead fun, age-appropriate activities and positive play
- Keep the childcare area clean, organized, and ready to go
- Follow safety procedures, agency policies, and childcare best practices
- Serve as lead teammate during shifts; assist with daily onsite operations
- Help answer routine parent questions and ensure documentation is completed correctly
Required skills/qualifications
- Comfortable working with infants through pre-teens
- Strong communication, calm judgment, and dependable follow-through
- Ability to guide peers and stay organized in a busy setting

A Shift Snapshot
You’ll arrive for predictable hours—weekday evenings or Saturday mornings—set up the space, and welcome families as they check in. As the Kids Club Lead, you’ll keep the vibe calm and cheerful while parents head to the fitness floor, and you’ll stay visible and approachable for quick questions at drop-off and pick-up.
Between giggles, story time, and active play, you’ll rotate the room’s flow so different ages stay engaged. You’ll also be the go-to point person for the team during the shift, helping everyone stay in sync. Throughout the evening, you’ll keep things tidy and reset as needed so the space stays comfortable and ready for the next family. Employment with St. Andrew's Parish Parks and Playground Commission is contingent upon the successful completion of required pre-employment screenings, which may include background checks, employment eligibility verification, and post-offer drug screening.
