Group Fitness Instructor
St. Andrew's Family Fitness, a subdivision of St. Andrew's Parks and Playground, is searching for a Group Fitness Instructor. Essential Duties The following duties are representative but not all-inclusive:
- Lead safe and effective group fitness classes
- Demonstrate exercises and proper technique
- Monitor participant safety and provide modifications
- Maintain a welcoming and inclusive class environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification for specific class format required and must be maintained in good standing throughout employment (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or equivalent)
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification required and must be maintained throughout employment

Position Title: Group Fitness Instructor
Division/Department: Family Fitness Plus / Fitness
Reports To: Activities Coordinator
Salary/Pay Rate: $23.00 - $30.00 per 45-60 minute class, based on experience and credentials, with room for growth on a yearly basis
Benefits: Full family membership to the fitness center (for immediate family members in the same household); Medical Care Membership available with low ($70) monthly premiums; SC Retirement System. Other benefits include discounts on programs, events, camps, and classes offered throughout the agency.
