The Opportunity
- Role: RN or LPN
- Schedule: Work Monday or Friday 8 hours and Saturday and Sunday 12 hour shift schedule- 40 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, treatments, and medication administration
- Supervise, delegate, and support C.N.A. staff on the unit
- Implement and oversee resident care plans and daily nursing routines
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians, families, and leadership
- Ensure accurate, complete, and compliant medical documentation
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination
- Monitor medication storage, administration, discrepancies, and stop orders
- Conduct daily resident rounds and review charts for completeness
- Investigate incidents and accidents and complete required reports
- Promote infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Participate in surveys, audits, meetings, and facility committees
- Assume unit leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Nurse Manager
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Maine
- Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience
- Current CPR certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and clinical documentation
- Commitment to resident-centered care and continuous quality improvement
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, lifting up to 35 lbs., and use of required safety equipment
