This role is responsible for recruiting prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process, and representing the university at high schools, college fairs, and other outreach events.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students and families throughout the admissions process.
- Represent Mount Mercy at college fairs, high school visits, and on-campus events.
- Review and evaluate undergraduate applications in a holistic and timely manner.
- Conduct interviews and one-on-one advising sessions.
- Conduct Admissions presentations and assist with on and off campus special events including and, but not limited to individual and large groups, visit events on campus, receptions, recruitment outreach, workshops, conferences, pre-registration and orientation activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of university offerings, academic programs, financial aid policies, and admission procedures.
- Manage recruitment territory and contribute to strategic outreach efforts.
- Understand and adhere to national guidelines for ethical and supportive admissions processes so students and families can make well-informed college attendance decisions.
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1–2 years of experience in admissions, student affairs, or a related field (experience as a student ambassador or intern will be considered).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel (seasonal), work evenings/weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license required.
